Experience the magic of the season at Alliance Town Center’s annual Holiday at the Park celebration at Prairie Vista Park on Saturday, December 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. Presented by Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance, Holiday at the Park will have you and your family ready for a holly, jolly Christmas! Arbutus Entertainment will be spinning all your favorite Christmas jams and the sounds of the Keller Area Youth Jazz Orchestra will ring through the air as children’s faces light up during photos with Santa. Haven’t taken your family portrait for Christmas cards yet? Not to worry. The whole family can gather together for a photo on Santa’s magical sleigh.
The evening will be filled with lots of fun activities! There will be Snow Hill Slides, sponsored by Sticks Tree Care, a Christmas Craft Station, sponsored by Michaels, face painting, sponsored by Cook Children’s, Bonnie the Vintage Photobooth, sponsored by Fidelity, Elf Speed Cones, a light-up cone relay race, sponsored by Fellowship of the Parks, and stories with Mrs. Claus, sponsored by Medical City Alliance. The ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree will take place at dusk.
The fun doesn’t stop there! The North Pole Rein“steer,” Texas longhorn dressed in their best holiday attire, sponsored by Sprouts, will make an appearance. Frosty the Snowman, the Grinch, Toy Soldier stilt walkers and more will also be afoot spreading holiday cheer.
Hungry for more than cookies and milk? We’ll have all your favorite food trucks: Hook and Ladder Pizza Co., King’s Street Grill, Crown Tacos, Crazy Burger, Beef Eaters Grille, Chiave’s Italian Street Food Truck, Hoang's Noodle House, Super Sliders and Aunt Shirley's Food Truck. Make sure to stop by the Sweetie’s Cheesecakes and Menchie's Frozen Yogurt tents to satisfy your sweet tooth.
